TOUCHDOWN! The re-entry module has landed, WELCOME TO MARS is out now!
After a year-long hiatus (on Mars?) Welcome To Mars is out now - the title track from the band’s third album that will land later this year.
Recorded just days after being written, this song harnesses the energy and excitement of a sick new tune. Marty Powell says, “It speaks about the messed-up state of our planet, it’s a message to earthlings from us here on Mars with lyrics like - We can see your planet’s dying, there isn’t much time left for you. But only some of you are trying, so planet Mars is here for you!”
Riff Raiders exploded on the Melbourne scene with the anthemic single ‘Live Like You Mean It’ in 2017 and have released two albums, ‘Live Like You Mean It’ (2018) and Rock’n’Roll Daydream (2020). Playing well over 100 shows in that two-year period until being forced into the quarantine bay, the band built a solid following and earned a reputation for incredibly tight and powerful live performances.
